    Ugh, thats crazy stuff.. I remember playing DOOM on my 386DX40 and peformance was not good. I had to reduce screen size and do double pixels. 486SX25 peformed much better, especially when I overclocked it to 33MHz.

        There's a 32-bit build of Doom8088. It's twice as fast as the 16-bit build.

    Hmm, I wonder if they can do something usefull on their DECnet. I toyed myself with creating some kinda of network for fun, but after few considerations I decided to use IP.

    IP is well established protocol that can run on a lot of even old platforms thanks to people porting IP stack to them.

    This should be -128 to +127.
