    My BeBox gets booted once a year and then placed back in storage after verification of its operational status.

    I should probably use it more. ;)

    I still have my BeBox … plus a prototype case. When the boxes were first shipped to some developers, the case design had yet to be finalized. When the final case arrived, you swapped the motherboard and cards from the prototype to the new case.

    The Be was impressive. The mult-tasking and multimedia was impressive. How different the world would be if Apple bought Be instead of NEXT in 1996.
