      I did the advent this year in c# and it was challenging enough. C64 basic without a good lib like map/reduce. God level.

    Their series on restoring the AGC is one of my favorite things I've ever watched on YouTube. Possibly period. Totally no nonsense and just telling what's going on the whole time. So incredible.

    This looks promising and fairly versatile. You could use the scanner but it seems like it would be much slower than a camera/phone camera. Also you can likely get a much better contrast with a camera if the cards are a light color, which will help.
