- I'm sure this will end further distribution just as effectively as it did when they issued take a down against AM2R ...
- Half-Life is one of those seminal games I will never get tired of. The retrospective documentary in the same link was really interesting too. The way the developers spoke about the crunch to finish was a little painful because I can completely empathise. I recognise the mix of extreme pride in being a part of something so impactful, combined with strong notes of bitterness about the personal costs.

- On the brightside they got a really strong showing from Id. Atari really should have leaned into that considering how much of a phenomenon Doom was at the time. The Jaguar had the definitive Doom and Wolf3D console ports until the PSX turned up.
- Atari50 was an incredible collection of materials but its really unique and new contribution was the excellent Jaguar emulation. Existing emulators have been a little hit-or-miss with compatibility but this absolutely nailed it. Huge kudos both for the technical achievement and to Digital Eclipse for allowing the author to release it separately:
- I love Tempest 2000 on Jaguar, but I feel like I'm missing out on the tactile heft of the rotary controller and the visual impact of the original arcade machine.
