As a kid in England I owned many Sirius 1 and ACT Apricot PCs. I did not actually know until today that the PC and Sirius 1 were compatible. I just knew they were both non-IBM compatible (although a lot of DOS software would just work as long as it didn't try to access the hardware directly).
When I was a kid in the 80s they were a dime-a-dozen at random computer auctions that used to be advertised in Computer Shopper et al. The problem was carrying the damned things home, even with the handle.
Could never find any software for them, except for hacking up my own.
Sad to find out recently that Simon Sheppard who was one of the biggest hackers on Sirius 1 / ACT etc and sold almost all the third-party software and hardware in the 80s and 90s turned out to be a little, (how can I put this?) unusual and is currently in prison:
