I did not expect to wake up today and see a review and commentary on thr Atari 400 as a retro computer platform. Certainly not on the Guatdian. I had one of these machines. Capable and with 16k. Was programmable and an awesome gaming machine. The keyboard was maddening but I learned how to install kits to give it somethign like the atari 800 and made money doing the upgrade in and around Toronto during the 80s. The machine was basically an Atari 5200 with a keyboard and the better Atari 2600 joysticks instead of the awful joysticks that came with the 5200.
