    I love this so much. When I was a lad - I could pick out Mac floppy and hard disk sounds vs Seagate MFM vs Conner Peripherals 40mb IDE drives in movies. Such an oddly satisfying thing! Made my week!

      thank you for your kind words on my program i actually updated it today to V0.0.3 which cleans up the ui makes the app more responsive to disk activity and i added a bunch more Hard drive samples most being from the 1990's

        It's why I have said so much that the cloud has no soul. Part of the appeal of programming and computing in general is the feedback from the fans, HD and monitors reacting in somewhat to let you know its not dead/crashed. Retro gear has a rich soundscape that immerses you in the joy of battling your machine.

            V0.0.35 Changelog 1.Added a button to load the default HDD 2.Added a Plethora of New 90s hard drives and redid the Seagate ST-225 And Miniscribe 3245 and added a few samples in the others folder 3.Added a brief fade in and out for the sounds to not be as harsh

    Can it emulate the sound of me screaming when the HDD fails and makes that clunking sound? :)
