I’ve had mine for a few weeks. Hardware is solid, it’s built like a Nokia phone. My only complaint about the hardware is the screen. Very crisp, but no backlight is a major bummer. Battery life is good, but not great, and that must have factored into their backlight decision.
Games are a mixed bag so far (you get 24 with the console, plus can purchase or sideload more). The 24 games included are unlocked over time (I think there is an option to unlock them all immediately, but I like the slow drip of new content). Some are easier to pick up and play than others. A few feel incomplete. One is more of an activity than a game. But i appreciate the diversity and a couple of them are very addictive.
It feels retro, but in a good way. I carry mine everywhere and crank out a game or two instead of fiddling with my phone. Most of the games so far are designed for very short playtimes. Overall, I like it, but my experience is limited.
