- It is based on the CP/M option to redirect input and/or output, typically configured with STAT (https://electrickery.nl/comp/px8/funWithSTAT.txt). The UD-80 displays the output on a cheap TV compatible monitor. Very sensible in the 1980's. The driver allows to add color information, but lacking a manual it is unclear how.
- Retronomicon 449 days agoThat's some really nice readable 80col text for a composite signal, makes me wonder how they achieved it. (edit: they didn't, all the text shots are via the VGA output :(
